Age 

Contestants must be at least 18 and no older than 30 by May 1, 2027.

Height 

Contestants must be at least 5'6'’ in height barefoot. 

Status

Contestants must be currently single (not married) and are not planning on being married during her year of reign. 

Constants may have children but may not be currently pregnant, or pregnant during her year of reign. 

Contestants must be born female. 

Contestants must have a U.S. Passport. 

AREAS OF COMPETITION

PRIVATE INTERVIEW

20% of overall score

The Private Interview provides the Official Panel of Judges the chance to get to know the Contestant on a personal level. The Contestant will be able to share her personality, achievements, aspirations and explain why they are the best person for the job for which they are applying. This will also provide the Contestant with the opportunity to share her passions. The Private Interview will be conducted in a panel-style format and will be five minutes in duration. The Judges will take into consideration the Contestant’s communication skills, ability to command the room, and potential to fulfill the job responsibilities of the titleholder. Scoring will not be based on a Contestant’s opinion on a subject discussed in Private Interview, but, rather, the Contestant’s ability to share her opinion and understanding of the issue.

 SWIMSUIT

40% of overall score

The Swimsuit competition is designed to demonstrate the Contestant’s healthy lifestyle. The Official Panel of Judges will take into consideration the Contestant’s confidence on stage, display of charisma and dedication to mind-body balance. The focus of the competition is not on a Contestant’s size or shape, but, rather, the ability of a Contestant to challenge herself to achieve higher levels of health, energy, wellness and purpose to integrate all aspects of body, mind and spirit. All contestants must wear a swimsuit during this competition. 

EVENING GOWN

40% of overall score

The Evening Gown competition is designed to feature the young woman wearing the dress, rather than the dress itself. The Official Panel of Judges will take into consideration the Contestant’s composure, poise and stage presence during this phase of competition. The focus will be on the appropriateness of the gown and, most importantly, on the Contestant’s personality and confidence. 

 Age 

Contestants must be at least 18 and no older than 36 by October 1, 2027.

Height 

There is no height restriction.

Status

Contestants may be single, married, divorced etc. 

Constants may have children but may not be pregnant while competing at the International pageant. 

Contestants must be born female. Contestants must have a U.S. Passport.

**Please note, the Mrs. Aura USA 2027 title is a National title but CURRENTLY there is not a Mrs. Aura International Pageant**

AURA IMPACT ADVOCACY PITCH

15% of overall score

During the AURA Impact Advocacy Pitch, judges are looking for contestants who can clearly communicate their personal or community initiative with passion, purpose, and vision. They will evaluate how well the contestant defines the issue they are addressing, the impact they’ve already made, and how they plan to expand their platform on a larger scale. Authenticity, confidence, and a genuine commitment to making a difference are key qualities the judges hope to see. 

STATE COSTUME COMPETITION
25% of overall score

Step into the spotlight and bring your state to life! Judges will be looking for creativity, showmanship, and how beautifully your costume celebrates the spirit, culture, and pride of your state title. This is your moment to shine—think bold, meaningful, and unforgettable as you showcase what makes your state truly sparkle!

 FITNESS

10% of overall score

The Fitness competition is designed to demonstrate the Contestant’s healthy lifestyle. The Official Panel of Judges will take into consideration the Contestant’s confidence on stage, display of charisma and dedication to mind-body balance. The focus of the competition is not on a Contestant’s size or shape, but, rather, the ability of a Contestant to challenge herself to achieve higher levels of health, energy, wellness and purpose to integrate all aspects of body, mind and spirit. All contestants must wear either a swimsuit or fitness attire during this competition.
